Dear Reader,

How was your month of July?

At We-are-HR, we have had a productive month running our popular Taster sessions for both the Level 3 and Level 5 CIPD programmes.

The highlight for me was when my son Henry popped into the video to say ‘hello’ to everyone – I think this really lightened everyone’s mood and reinforced the realities and challenges of remote working.

For those of you that were unable to attend, you will be glad to know that we are running them again in August:

The CIPD Level 3 Taster Session is on August 15. You can register here.

The CIPD Level 5 Taster Session is on August 22. Click here to register.

We-are-HR has been busy building our Partnerships with businesses that are aligned with our values of building diversity, well-being, and future development within the HR Profession. It’s something that is at the heart of our business, and we are successfully getting our message across to our growing number of followers!

We are unique as we want our learners to feel that they developed in their careers after studying a qualification at our centre. It’s not about bums on seats… it’s about ‘learning, applying, reflecting and improving’. This is a continuous process, and we are here to help you – so do get in touch!

For September, we have the Blended Learning Option for Levels 3, 5, and 7 as well as the option of Self-Directed Learning for Levels 3, 5, and 7 on our LMS Program.

Our NOCN Courses are On-demand and we have a similar option of Self-Directed Learning for our Level 5 NOCN on our LMS Programme.

On the solutions side of the business, we have been busy revamping our Solutions Brochure and making sure that our unique offerings of the following are:

They are very much acknowledged by growing SME’s who do not have an HR department and who could use the extra pair of hands! So, if you are a business owner get in contact for a Free HR Audit. Your business cannot grow without some of these foundations in place.

We-are-HR is proud to be supporting Bliss.

Bliss is a charity supporting mothers with premature babies. This charity is very close to my heart having experienced 3 premature births and having the trauma and stress of overnight stays in NICU. I am happy to announce that on the 15th of July the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Bill passed Second Reading and received government support. This is a significant achievement, and the Bill is now in a strong position to move through the next stages.

If this Bill becomes law, it will mean all employed parents will be entitled to up to 12 weeks of neonatal leave if their baby is born premature or sick.

This huge milestone will support thousands of parents having paid leave when their baby is critically ill in hospital every year, it’s something less to worry about when you are already going through a magnitude of stress.

Lastly, please join us at the UK Career’s Fair in Northampton.
