How was your December?

December was a quieter month for us, as many of our team took well-deserved Annual Leave to enjoy the festive season with their loved ones. At our company, we strongly encourage staff to prioritise time with family and friends, recognising the importance of recharging and creating cherished memories during the holidays. That said, after two weeks of lively family gatherings and festive cheer, I often find myself eager to dive back into the rhythm of work, embracing the energy and focus that a fresh year brings!

During the holiday season, we explored the habits that help individuals stay grounded and happy amidst life’s busyness.

The results highlighted one key takeaway: connection and self-care are essential for overall wellbeing.

Many participants emphasised the importance of routines like morning jogs, quiet meditation, and getting enough rest through early nights. However, the most popular response was good chats—a reflection of how meaningful connections and conversations can positively impact mental and emotional health. There’s no universal path to wellbeing, but a blend of movement, mindfulness, rest, and connection offers a strong foundation. These small yet powerful habits remind us of the importance of prioritising self-care and community in daily life.
