How was your March?

March started off at a gentle pace, as it often does. With the end of the tax year approaching, there’s usually a bit of nervous energy in the air. That said, some of our clients were eager to make the most of their remaining budgets, and what better way to invest than in Team Training?

We saw a real uptick in requests for Team Building Sessions, and as always, we love stepping up to support our clients, drawing from our own experiences of building a strong, successful team.

Speaking of which… We just got back from our very own Team Building Trip to Tunisia!

Two blissful days out of the office spent bonding, laughing, and recharging, topped off with a powerful training session on SMART Working. It was more than just a getaway; it was a chance to reconnect on a human level, share joyful moments, and deepen our sense of team spirit.

We can honestly say it was one of the most fulfilling experiences we’ve had as a team. So much so that we’ve made it official; this will now be an annual tradition!

Webinar Recap: Women in the Lead – Confidence, Success & Leadership

This month’s webinar explored the empowering topic of Women in Leadership, and it did not disappoint! Our inspiring guest speaker, Averil Leimon, brought the conversation to life with passion and energy, sparking thought-provoking insights and lighting a fire under our audience!

Averil Leimon is a leadership coach, author, and co-founder of White Water Group. With 30+ years of experience, she helps leaders, especially women, unlock their potential and step into leadership with confidence.

Co-author of Coaching Women to Lead, Averil combines psychology, research, and practical strategies to empower professionals to lead effectively and achieve success without compromising well-being.

One standout moment from the Webinar? A brilliant question from a proactive attendee asking how he could support his wife in developing her leadership skills, a moment that was met with heartfelt applause and valuable, practical advice.

Poll Results

In a recent LinkedIn poll, we asked our network what they believe is the biggest barrier preventing more women from reaching top leadership roles; despite women holding 42% of FTSE 350 board seats, only 10% of FTSE 100 CEOs are female.

 
The majority of respondents pointed to lack of flexibility at the top as the primary barrier, followed closely by unequal growth opportunities and workplace culture and bias.
 
This highlights the continued need for structural change, not just at entry-level or mid-level positions, but at the very top of organisations.

Wellbeing

As always striving to balance mental and physical wellbeing, our director Natasia Hieber took on the challenge of the Mallorca Spartan! This muddy but memorable event involved a 5K run and 20 obstacles, and Natasia completed it in an impressive 1 hour and 10 minutes. A fantastic achievement she’s rightly proud of!
